The data is processed using a battery of machine-learning algorithms. The artist's intention is to distill an "emotional value" from the input data. These works are NOT simple visualizations of data. The work is both a celebration of the star that powers all life processes on Earth and a reminder of the deadly specter of climate change precipitated by industry. The solar signals are generated "off-grid" using the artist's own computer servers, powered by solar energy. Images and metadata are stored on Arweave's Permaweb.
